Dates for the Diary - in and out

calendar 1There are a few changes to Diary dates in September so we are giving as much notice as we can.  Captain's Prize Day is being re-instated and will take place in tandem with the Gents September Medal, Ally Whillans Memorial Trophy, Fox & Hounds No 10 on Saturday 9th September.

The following day we will be holding the 2017 Open Day.  We will be looking for help on the day to attract new members to our Club. Please keep a look out for invitations to help.  Flyers and posters will soon be available to publicise the event.  The previous two Open days have been successful events.  Minto depends on new Members to sustain the Club into the future.  Tell all your friends and work colleagues about the benefits of playing golf at Minto.  Minto has many attractions - it is ideal for playing just 8 or 10 holes as well as playing 18.  The Course is in great condition and is the envy of many Visitors and other Clubs who come to play matches here.  The Club Lounge is comfortable with the right range of food and drink for all occasions.  A number of popular social events are held throughout the year.

Minto is ideal for both social and competitive golf; it is possible to play a round  at almost any time of day

Prize Day and Open Day are the two additions to the September Diary.  Captain Stewart Paisley regrets that he has been unable to find a suitable venue at a realistic price  for the planned Gents Outing on 2nd September and unfortunately that won't be taking place this year.

Turning to August can all quarter finalists in the Gents Hole Cup, Pye Lyle Trophy, and Senior Matchplay, together with the Huntlyburn Cup, please note that the current round should be completed by Sunday 6th August.  We're keeping remarkably well to time so far this year.  Let's keep it that way - Thanks!
