Scottish Golf National Conference 2018 - New!

Tscottish golf smallhe second annual Scottish Golf Conference was held at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre last Saturday with the game’s digital future top of the agenda.  Scottish Golf set out its plans to overcome the challenges faced by golf clubs, building on the key themes arising from the inaugural event last year, which identified technology, pay-per-play golfers, changing club culture and the recruitment of more women and young people as the most important areas for the governing body to focus its work on.

Andrew McKinlay, the recently appointed Chief Executive of Scottish Golf, said:...“The conference gives us a fantastic platform to showcase the exciting progress made by the team at Scottish Golf in the last 12 months.  “This is a crucial time for golf in Scotland and a great opportunity for the industry as a whole to embrace change as we look to secure the game’s future.
